Noted with Style - Collection #3 September 6th, 2012 Blue for boys and pink for girls. Pants for boys, skirts for girls. Boys have action figures, girls get dolls (reality check: they are the same ). Societal norms dictate that we dress our babies, children and ourselves accordingly. This is what we tell the kids and thereafter, they are expected to follow such 'rules' until they are old enough to know and understand their specific gender roles. We're all well aware that societal conventions are binding but especially so for children. Imagine yourself as a 12 year old, pre-pubescent boy. You're comfortable being a boy and happy in your skin.
