National Day Parade Every year on August 9th, since gaining independence from Malaysia, Singaporeans celebrate the occasion with a bang at The Float @ Marina Bay. The parade is jam-packed with exciting events that include a speech by Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong, the national flag fly-past, 21-gun salute, and various music and dance performances, with a stunning display of fireworks to end the festivities.
