In the summer of 1929, Salvador Dalí met his inspiration, his muse. Gala entered the scene and his life could begin. It was crazy, exacerbated, excessive love. To his Gradiva− she who moves forward − his victory, his woman, Dalí dedicated a language that belonged only to them, an alphabet of love, the “Daligramme”. In embroidery Italian Jacquard canvas, inspired by vintage Lancel designs from the 1940s. Its design and interior details suggest the Art Deco style. In early years 1970, Lancel interpreted the Daligramme with the creation of a unique collector’s bag dedicated to Gala, Le Dalí, the handle of which was a bicycle chain, the symbol of sincere devotion, between two energies going in the same direction.
