As soon as we arrived in Cape Town city, we saw the magnificent Table Mountain. This giant mountain is the backdrop to the city and it’s very interesting looking. Its top is flat. “Table”.. get it? What better way to see it then than right on its flat top? =) My girlfriends from USA did a climb/walk up to the top and they warned me NOT to do it. Unless I was masochistic. Fortunately, there’s a cableway that goes up the mountain. It costs R180 (~SGD33) for a return trip. The cable car ROTATES. It’s freaking cool. You know how we always have to rush to stand at a good spot in a cable car? Not with this one. No matter where you stand, you’ll get your chance to take in the spectacular view. Up on Table Mountain, we could see practically the whole city. All that was missing for us was a picnic basket, picnic mat and a flask of chilled wine. Haha.. Here’s one final look at the m...
