Bak kwa aka dried meat aka bbq pork aka rou gan (mandarin) aka pork jerky. (Yes, too many alias! haha!) One of my absolute favourite, that ive been meaning to do this for the longest time and its just so easy. It’s always best homemade from scratch because then you’re able to control what you ingredients you put in it or adjust to your own taste buds if you dont want it too sweet or salty. Ive came across some recipes that requires rose oil or red food colouring, which honestly I dont see a need to put these extra ingredients as it is perfectly natural the way it turns out to be, delicious/ addictive and the way how I remembered it ol’ school style.
