Behind the Scenes at March for Marrow - an Ambassador Event, by Martha Crews, AAMDSIF Community Development Officer Much to my children’s chagrin, I really enjoy taking selfies on my cell phone. Because I often find myself traveling alone on various trips for AAMDSIF, I want to document the wonderful things I’m doing and seeing. I work with the Foundation’s volunteers – who we’ve dubbed our “ambassadors” – throughout the year to help them plan their walks or events. And I try to get to each and every one. In that way, I’m really fortunate because I’m able to spend time with our fabulous ambassadors who make them possible. And I take lots of selfies with them!
