I have a folder full of book ideas in my Google Drive. Outlines of books I’d like to write, eBooks I could self-publish, outlines of potential books that must just turn into a Write 31 Days series. Since the ideas come at really random times, like in the car or while I’m waiting at the dentist, Google Drive has been the easiest place to store those ideas until they can become a work-in-progress. It’s not a fancy process, just an email to myself before mama brain kicks in and I forget. Every once in awhile I go through that folder and realize that God is telling me that “now” is the time to work on one of those projects, but in a different way than I originally intended.
