I think with age comes contradictions. We learn to appreciate finer things in life, develop more expensive tastes, tell ourselves that now we can finally afford good food, better experiences, more things than we really need. But..in the end, its the simple stuff that matters. Every year, when my birthday rolls around, I find that while previously i would have loved an expensive dinner treat, a huge birthday present and packed all-day celebrations, now, all it takes is the family sitting together for a meal and everyone being happy in the end. I am trying to de-clutter my life now and aim for simple pleasures such as surrounding myself with good company, decent food and tackle my biggest weakness of non-stop shopping -.- got my hair coloured for the first time in ages! and having a few fashion moments on instagram: here is the full outfit shot. upcoming necklaces!
