Had my first personal computer when I was 15, and then Friendster only existed a year later. Do you ever wonder how simple relationships, friendships and life could be with the absence of the world wide web giving you some sort of an unnecessary head start before you know people? Would we be a less judgmental society? I’d consider myself lucky because I did enjoy a pre-technological period of school and not feel like I’m getting thrown into a realm where peer pressure is at its worst. Ever wonder if friendships would’ve been a little more sincere if social connections in public is not vital for social status? I don’t know how you look at it. But I rarely talk about my best friends online, at least not my closest friends. The last thing you want is to have friends with benefits (not literally).
