Updated | STRENGTH VS CARDIO?
I personally think its best to incorporate both strength and cardio training into your workout routines. Two weeks ago, I tried a new workout routine that doesn’t require me to do much lifting or exercises that involves the core (abdominal). It uses more body weight and additional cardio exercise like high intensity knee high kicks etc. It felt good for the first couple of days but a week later I realized that it slowed down my metabolism rate. It was rather upsetting at first because I really watch what I eat but I constantly feel like I’m putting on weight. Now that didn’t work for me. Perhaps my body got really used to strength training; lifting weights and obviously muscles to burn ‘em calories. I try not to do any cardio workout longer than 20 minutes because anything longer than that, you’re burning off muscles. You do weights to build muscles then run miles to lose ...
